Players line up in pairs as shown above.
- The reds dribble the ball across the field while the darks
jockey backwards.
- When they reach the end line the dark players dribble the ball
while the reds retreat in a jockeying position.
Variations:
- Players pass the ball back and forth to each other while moving
across the field.
- Player with the ball passes for the other to stop it still.
- The player moving backwards holds the ball in his/her hands. They
move across the field throwing the ball for their partner to volley
it back into their hands.
- Same as above but with headers.
- Player with the ball attempts to go past the retreating player.
