Possession-1

In a square 30 x 30 play 4 v 4 v 4. Two teams play against one. The players on the outside are used for possession only. One team in the middle is chosen to keep possession with the wall Players, the other team in the middle can shoot when they retrieve the ball.
  1. Team in the middle keeps the ball from the shooters with the help of the players on the outside and the Goal keepers.
  2. Players on outside have two touches and they can pass to other players on the outside.
  3. The team of four shooters have to win the ball back and then create an opportunity to score.
  4. Change teams around.
Focus on:
  • Communication.
  • Team in possession, players move away from markers to find space.
  • When shooters win the ball, be composed and patient for a good shooting opportunity.

Variation:

  • Team in possession play two touches.
  • Shooters can also use wall players, (whichever team passes to wall players then the wall player must look for the same team with their pass)
  • Wall players only have one touch
