Pre-Season

 
The best way for players to get their rest is to give them a tough stamina test, 3 mile run, consisting of 3/4 pace 40 yard runs (use tree's or lamp posts as markers). When you have completed the tough stamina test, let the players take in some fluids, then bring the ball into play, and do some ball exercises. This helps the players to recover. After a session with the ball you can put in another stamina exercise.
