Pass & Move

Mark out a pitch, depending on how many players you have. Put the players in teams of three, each team with a ball.
  1. The player in possession of the ball dribbles for a few seconds then passes to one of the other players in his / her team.

Focus on:
  • All players must keep eye contact with each other.
  • Quality Passing
  • Communication
  • Decision Making (when to pass to feet, when to pass to space).
  • Stretch after five minutes.
Variations:
  • Make the playing area bigger.
  • Can players receive the ball on the move?
  • Play two touch.
  • If possible, use a size 2 football, this will develop close control, balance and confidence.
