First touch

Players are 10 yards apart with 4 cones in the middle. (As above)
  1. Player A passes the ball through the middle gate to player B.
  2. Player B takes his/her first touch to the right, then dribbles the ball. Player B then passes to Player A who has moved left to receive the pass.
  3. Player A’s first touch to right and dribbles to middle gate, then passes to player B.
  4. Player B then takes touch to left, dribbles and then passes to player A.
  5. Player A takes touch to left then passes to player B through middle gate, and so on.
  6. A & B switch roles.

Focus on:

  • Quality of pass.
  • First touch.
  • Body shape.
